Black stump adventure race

First blog post in a while . . hope the spelling is not too bad.

Rolling up to the race was a bit different from the usual, being out in the country and seeming like it was in the middle of nowhere. The weather was in prime conditions being slightly overcast.

The race start was a bit of suprise, with a guy walking up to the sart and randomly firing off a shotgun..go! The start was nice and chilled for the first two hundred metres, then I decided to attack and split the bunch apart with Sam Gaze sticking with me. We rode together for a bit until the next attack which saw me out in the front for the rest of the race. The scenery was quite nice and the course was blimmin hard! Plus there were a lot of sheep out on the course which made it good fun. Finished up in first! Very happy.

This was an Awesome race with a friendly atmosphere..I would definitely do it again if it was not the last one (for a while they say)

Thanks to the race organisers for making it a great day.

Cheers
